As there is a manifesto for agile development, Samantha Laing and Karen Greaves, proposed the manifesto for agile testing in the book A Coach’s Guide to Agile Testing.

The values that this manifesto proclaims are:
- We value testing throughout over testing at the end.
- We value preventing bugs over finding bugs.
- We value testing understanding over checking functionality.
- Building the best system over breaking the system
- The team is responsible for the quality over the tester is responsible for the quality.
